Ever since Warren sang this song with Phil & Friends in Boston years ago and of course when Brent Mydland owned it....it's always been a gem! Thanks to the Furthur gang and G-Mans ever evolving catalog!

Very under-rated, but I agree about some of the quality issues. However 'bootleg' you get them, though, it's great to hear these guys again - mnany thanks, G, for the work in doing this. At the office, we are playing this!

The venue has nazi security (Boston strong, I suppose), and uneven acoustics but there were a few good pockets, both outside by the middle of the table sections, and inside right up the center. The second night generally had more sustained volume and power than first night, IMHO. Alligator opener seemed a tad flat, however. Otherwise, the show was killer. Duprees was a blast with long intro jam, and Big RR brought the house down. Better than average H2H (someone once called Bobby's "sock it to me" part as "jive ass" and I tend to agree). The band seemed to enjoy enjoy Brent's Light and gave it a little jam at the end. Fierce and devastating Eyes, Shakedown, Dew. The band sounded like they were having a rippin good time and so were we. The Row Jimmy was a gorgeous surprise for a summer night. The energy from the jams (Duprees, Big RR, Eyes, Shakedown, Dew) is as good as the Philly show's from last week, and that is saying a lot. From one G-man to another, thanks for the recording--about as good as you could get from the conditions at the back of that pavilion.

another killer show in boston last night. only rated four because its not a soundboard. show started off with a mellow first set that kicked up in the end with a great dire wolf and Big RR blues. second set was a powerful jam machine. John K shooting off milky tones and Jeff pounding on the keys. Sound quality of this recording is great for the atmosphere. tapers section is in the back and a whole bunch of audience noise comes with it. but you cant get rid of that when everyone in the crowd is singing along. highlights include Eyes, shakedown, midnight hour, plus the nice encore set of Row Jimmy > Touch of grey. Enjoy!
